The Project was born from the relationship established in 2012 with the Association Spazi Musicali of via Cigna 211. A four-year process of partnership led to the drafting of a definition for the future of Spazio 211 that ranks the final resolution in the project of Variante strutturale P.R.G.C. of Torino. The next step is to propose, in common with the district where is located spazio211 and the city of Torino, a cultural program that will implement the functions of the current activities, that gives a new value with a new multipurpose centre, suitable for concerts, events and artistic events. In fact, the area of Parco Sempione, has always had a strong cultural identity and creative vocation, now needs a redefinition with a strong planning to provide spaces and structures to the new requirements for current and future users. The project plans to give birth to a public-private partnership, through the technical operation of the project-financing, which will see the sharing of objectives by the administration and private stakeholders who see a return on this project in terms of business strategy for a new cultural heritage. The project is organized on five key points: 1. Convert the destination of the space currently used for the concert hall, in a smart zone for co-working, where the local business activities and young professionals, are able to find a dynamic ambient to share their experience. 2. Enhancement of rehearsal rooms and school of music. 3. Build a new hall for concert/auditorium in a strategic area of the city, which will be available for the activities promoted from municipality without spend in private spaces. This structure will be a centre for musical and cultural activities. It will be closed in winter and open in summer. 4. Insert a new Social Tevern inside of the actual building, who follows the idea of "Trattoria sociale or Locanda", strong reality consolidated in Piemonte. 5. The entire project has been designed with the possibility of future reversibility. The entire new structure is developed with the use of environmentally materials. The structure is composed of two concrete walls who define the entrance, north and south side. The most part of roof design can be opened, is arranged in laminated wood arches, strips, planks, and light curtain corrugated metal. The building is easy to build; it is designed to be built in a short time with limited resources, and will reach the total independence from the fossil supplies. the same distance between Centrale Railway station and Porta Garibaldi Railway station. The area is a urban block with three buildings divided by two courtyards.
